This black ceramic mug features a delightfully peculiar little girl adapted from an early-1900s antique postcard from my personal collection. I digitally reworked the original vintage artwork and gave her a new life with my original saying:
“I’ve Always Been This Way.”
The result is a wonderfully odd combination of authentic antique imagery, dark humor, Halloween spirit, and creepy vintage charm.

ABOUT THE ARTWORK
The girl featured in this design originates from an antique postcard dating to the early 1900s that I acquired for my collection.
I restored and creatively reimagined the original image, preserving much of its aged character while adding the typography and saying to create a new piece of wearable, and now drinkable, vintage-inspired art.
The distressed texture, age marks, and imperfections visible in the artwork are intentional and are part of the antique aesthetic.
